Social Security Conference & Seminar Appearances

Jan presented at the October 2002, Social Security Disability Law Conference in San Francisco, California sponsored by the National Organization of Social Security Claimant's Representatives (NOSSCR). His topic was an Introduction to Social Security Disability Law.

In October, 2000, Jan also presented a session at the NOSSCR National Disability Law convention. At that time he covered the subject of prescription medication side effects and their impact upon a person's ability to sustain work activity.

At the April, 1999, NOSSCR conference in Washington, DC, his topic was "The X Files-Now Where Did I Put Them?? Case and Office Management Pointers".

At the October, 1997, NOSSCR conference in Chicago, Illinois, Jan presented a session on "Introduction to Social Security Disability Law".

Also, at the October 1997, conference, he was a Co-presenter of "Advice to the Working Wounded - What if Your Client Returns to Work While Her Claim is Pending".

Jan has also presented before the Chicago Bar Association social worker training sessions. He has spoken at Chicago public informational library sessions and is a repeat volunteer at the Multiple Sclerosis Society law day program.
